Etsy has not changed its core fee structure for 2026. The current seller fees are: a $0.20 listing fee per item, 6.5% transaction fee on each sale, and a 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee (US). Here is exactly what you will pay on every sale.

| Sale Price | Listing | Transaction (6.5%) | Processing | Total Fees | Your Net |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10.00 | $0.20 | $0.65 | $0.55 | $1.40 | $8.60 |
| $25.00 | $0.20 | $1.63 | $1.00 | $2.83 | $22.17 |
| $50.00 | $0.20 | $3.25 | $1.75 | $5.20 | $44.80 |
| $75.00 | $0.20 | $4.88 | $2.50 | $7.58 | $67.42 |
| $100.00 | $0.20 | $6.50 | $3.25 | $9.95 | $90.05 |
The listing fee is $0.20 per item, charged when you publish a new listing or when an existing listing renews. Listings expire after 4 months and auto-renew unless you disable auto-renewal.
If you sell a listing with quantity greater than 1, each additional unit sold triggers another $0.20 charge. Selling 3 units from one listing costs $0.60 in listing fees total.
The $0.20 listing fee is unchanged in 2026 from prior years.
Etsy charges a 6.5% transaction fee on the total sale amount — this includes the item price and any shipping amount you charge the buyer. Gift wrapping fees are also included when applicable.
On a $50 item with $5 shipping, the transaction fee applies to the $55 total: $55 x 6.5% = $3.58. Many sellers underestimate fees by forgetting that shipping is included in the calculation.
The 6.5% transaction fee has been unchanged since Etsy raised it from 5% in 2022.
For US sellers using Etsy Payments, the payment processing fee is 3% of the sale amount plus a flat $0.25 per transaction. UK sellers pay 4% + £0.20, and Canadian sellers pay 3% + C$0.25.
The flat $0.25 makes low-price items expensive relative to the sale price. On a $5 item, the processing fee alone is $0.40 (8% effective rate). On a $100 item, it is $3.25 (3.25% effective rate). This is why many sellers set $15 as a minimum price.
When a sale originates from an Etsy-placed ad on Google, Facebook, or Pinterest, Etsy charges an additional offsite ads fee. Sellers under $10,000/year pay 15%; sellers who exceeded $10,000 in the previous 12 months pay 12% (and cannot opt out).
Sellers under the $10,000 threshold can opt out of offsite ads in Shop Manager. When opted in, the fee only applies when a buyer clicks an ad and purchases within 30 days — not on every sale.

Open Fee CalculatorNo — Etsy has not announced any fee changes for 2026. The current fee structure (6.5% transaction, $0.20 listing, 3% + $0.25 processing for US) has been in place since Etsy raised the transaction fee to 6.5% in April 2022.
The current Etsy listing fee is $0.20 per item. It is charged when you create a new listing and each time it auto-renews (every 4 months). Selling multiple units from one listing adds $0.20 per additional unit sold.
The current Etsy transaction fee is 6.5%, applied to the total sale price including item cost and any shipping amount charged to the buyer.
From a $25 sale (no shipping, US seller), Etsy takes approximately $2.83 total: $0.20 listing + $1.63 transaction fee (6.5%) + $1.00 processing (3% + $0.25). Your net payout is $22.17.
Yes. Etsy did not change its seller fee rates going into 2026. The listing fee ($0.20), transaction fee (6.5%), and payment processing fee (3% + $0.25 for US) are all unchanged from 2025.
For a typical US sale with no shipping, the effective total fee rate is roughly 9.5–10.5% depending on item price. The exact percentage varies because the flat $0.20 listing and $0.25 processing fees shift the rate — lower-price items have a higher effective percentage.
