Updated for 2026
Your Etsy conversion rate (CVR) is the percentage of listing views that turn into actual sales. A good Etsy CVR in 2026 is 1–3% for most shops — meaning 1 to 3 orders for every 100 visits. Use the tables below to see how many sales and how much net revenue to expect at your view count and CVR.
Find your numbers in Etsy Shop Manager → Stats. Use Visits (unique visitors), not Views (page impressions), for the most accurate CVR. If your shop had 800 visits and 18 orders in the past 30 days, your CVR is 2.25% — right in the healthy range.

Etsy's marketplace average sits around 1–3%. Shops with highly optimized photos, competitive pricing, and strong reviews routinely hit 4–6%. Niche sellers with highly targeted audiences can exceed 8%. If your CVR is below 1%, focus on listing quality — main photo, title, pricing — before scaling ad spend.
Etsy Stats shows both views and visits. Views count every page impression (a single visitor looking at 3 listings = 3 views). Visits count unique sessions. Use visits for CVR — it gives a realistic picture of how many shoppers actually considered buying. Views-based CVR will always look lower and can be misleading.
Traffic from Etsy Offsite Ads (Google Shopping, Facebook, Pinterest) typically converts at a lower rate than organic Etsy search — often 0.5–1.5% vs 2–4% for organic. These visitors are less intentional. Account for the additional 15% (or 12%) fee when calculating net profit from ad-driven sales, since the fee applies only when the ad-referred buyer completes a purchase within 30 days.
Go to Shop Manager → Stats → Overview. Scroll to see Total Visits and Total Orders for your selected date range. Divide orders by visits and multiply by 100 to get your CVR. Etsy does not display conversion rate directly — you calculate it from these two numbers.
A falling CVR usually means your traffic quality has changed, not your listing quality. Common causes: Etsy Offsite Ads bringing lower-intent visitors, seasonal traffic shifts, or a price increase that wasn't offset by better photos or copy. Check whether your visit source changed (organic vs. ads vs. external) in your Stats traffic tab.
No — Etsy fees are fixed per transaction (listing fee + transaction fee + payment processing). A higher CVR means more sales for the same ad spend, which improves your cost-per-sale and makes offsite ads more profitable, but the fee rate per order stays the same.
Most sellers recommend a minimum 2% conversion rate before investing in Etsy Ads or Offsite Ads. Below 2%, ad spend often doesn't cover the additional offsite ads fee (15%). Use the fee calculator above to model whether your current average order value justifies the fee at your CVR.
